Nancy Phillips is a retired psychiatrist living in Portland, Oregon. After practicing psychiatry in both a private practice and hospital setting she retired and attended OHSU Professional Training in Global Health in 2015. Nancy has worked in triage and as a Spanish translator in Guatemala with Faith in Practice, a charity that provides health care to impoverished Guatemalans. Nancy visited Engeye in 2015 and enjoyed giving a lecture to the village health team on Major Depression. When not gardening or hiking, she enjoys traveling.
